My Play Place Speech Groups
-
InterAACtive Speech Therapy is proud to offer play-based small group programs that support children's speech, language, social communication, and overall communication development in a fun, engaging environment.
To ensure the best experience for every child, all participants must complete registration before attending a group. The registration process allows our therapists to learn about each child's unique strengths, interests, and communication needs so they can plan meaningful activities. Every group is led by a licensed Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) under the supervision of a licensed SLP, providing families with high-quality, evidence-based support in a welcoming and inclusive setting.
Important Note: Our small groups are designed to promote communication development through play, peer interaction, and parent education. These enrichment programs are not a substitute for individualized speech-language therapy and are not intended to diagnose or treat communication disorders. They are a wonderful complement to speech therapy or a great way to support communication development while families monitor progress or wait for services.

Welcome! We're excited to meet your family.
To help us provide the best possible experience, all first-time participants are required to complete a brief developmental questionnaire before their registration can be finalized. This questionnaire helps our therapists learn about your child's communication strengths, interests, sensory preferences, and support needs so they can plan engaging, developmentally appropriate activities and determine whether the selected group is the best fit.
In some cases, the questionnaire may indicate that your child would benefit from additional support, such as a speech-language screening, a comprehensive speech-language evaluation, or individual speech therapy services. If so, our team will discuss these recommendations with you before or after your child's participation.
I understand that a first-time participant questionnaire is required before my child's registration can be confirmed.

Please read each statement.
Registration must be completed at least 48 hours before the scheduled group.
To provide the best experience for all participants, children should attend the age-appropriate group unless otherwise recommended by an InterAACtive Speech Therapy clinician.
If my child cannot attend, I will notify InterAACtive Speech Therapy as soon as possible so another family may be offered the opportunity to participate.
InterAACtive Speech Therapy reserves the right to modify group schedules, combine groups, substitute therapists, or cancel a session due to illness, staffing, or low enrollment.
I understand that, while InterAACtive Speech Therapy will make every effort to provide consistent staffing, unexpected circumstances such as illness or emergencies may require a therapist to cancel a session. Families will be notified as soon as possible if a cancellation occurs. Although we will attempt to arrange substitute coverage when feasible, substitute therapists cannot be guaranteed. If coverage is unavailable, the session may be rescheduled or a makeup opportunity may be offered when possible.
Parents or caregivers are responsible for supervising their child before and after the group. Children must remain with their parent or designated caregiver unless otherwise specified by the therapist.
I understand that repeated unsafe or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the group if it interferes with the safety or learning of other participants.
-
I understand that participation in speech and language groups involves active movement and play. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and release InterAACtive Speech Therapy, LLC, My Play Place, and their employees, contractors, and representatives from liability for injuries or damages arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
